Location.

Public access is challenging, therefore this beach is usually frequented only by registered guests. Cancun beaches are public, but the resort's 69-meter stretch of beach is anchored at one end by Love Rock and bordered by a bluff at the opposite end. Love Rock, a popular wedding site, is a promontory that divides the resort's beach frontage into two segments.

Expert Tip. Regency Club Tower rooms include continental breakfasts, hors d'oeuvres, evening cocktails, butler services and wireless Internet access. Suites with jetted tubs overlook the Caribbean Sea and the hotel zone. The Premier Tower's deluxe beachfront rooms and suites boast ceiling fans, marble bathrooms with separate showers, double vanities and direct access to the white-sand beach. Renovated in 2006, deluxe rooms in the main building feature marble floors and modern furnishings, plus Caribbean-view balconies or terraces. Guestrooms. A complimentary shuttle service operates between the resort and the Hyatt Regency Cancun. AquaWorld rents boogie boards and snorkeling gear on the resort's premises. The fieldstone terrace houses a freeform pool and a 12-person spa tub. Four function rooms afford views of the lagoon or the terrace. A business center contains five computers equipped with high-speed Internet access for a fee. Le Jazz Club hosts live jazz. La Concha is a casual eatery that features Mexican specialties, while Café Solé serves salads, sandwiches and pastries. Seven on-site dining venues include Blue Bayou, an intimate fine-dining restaurant specializing in Cajun and Creole cuisine. Two winding staircases serve as focal points in the resort's tropically themed lobby.
